"ARTURN Collective are a female collaborative duo that aim to challenge the boundaries of socially concerned art practice simultaneously with deconstructing the ideas of contemporary curation. We aim to produce artist-curated exhibitions based on collaborations between mediums, ideas and approaches to contemporary art with an aim to understand the wider social context of our position in the current art environment."

ARTURN was established in 2015 by Kendra Howard and Tilly Davies in Leeds, UK. Over the past two years, Howard and Davies have worked on exhibitions, seminars, workshops, talks and film screenings to bring together artists across multi-displinary approaches to practice. At the core of ARTURN's ethos, is the aim to promote, make aware, support and provide. Since 2015 that has included campaigning, raising awareness and providing opportunities for those who haven't had the opportunity to exhibit work. They have worked with student artists, young emerging artists, international artists, artists with disabilities as well as established artists and curators nationwide. They aim to work closely with artists in the curation process of their shows, as well as film makers, journalists and musicians to create a unique approach to exhibitions they like to refer to as 'an event'.

As well as running their art events organisation, they also work collaboratively on performance, film, painting, and spoken word. Their work has been featured in many of their exhibitions and in online publications.
